Gratitude, thanksgiving: increase your range

Let’s admit, it is a mere bargain initially. We are only “grateful” for the things we like. The universe has to “buy” our gratitude by pleasing us…

As the burden of unhappiness starts to take a toll, we turn to “gratitude practice” — focusing the mind on “small good things”. But it does not make us grateful for the “big bad things.” Isn’t it? 😉

Not until we have a closer look at them using systems, holistic, compassionate outlook. The one we are (at least theoretically) ready to adopt. And once we do, sincere gratitude will naturally arise. Even towards painful, previously considered “bad” things.

Thank you. 😊
